Yesterday evening, D called on his way home from work. He said that there was a really really bad accident on I-40. When he went past, all he could see was a bus on an embankment with trees sticking out of the windshield and it looked like a body covered with a white sheet. Never a good sign, obviously.
Later on in the evening, it was announced that the driver of the bus was an old NC State basketball player. The player who shot the winning basket in the 1983 NCAA championship that NC State is so famous for.
D is in mourning today.

We are thinking that he must have had a heart attack or stroke or something to cause the accident. There were no other vehicles involved. Let's just be thankful there were no passengers involved either.
